About the Role:
We are currently seeking a full-time CAD Drafter in our Gladstone office. Preference will be given to drafters with 3 + years of proven experience in experience in drafting of electrical systems. Our CAD Team is passionate about ensuring that our clients’ electrical drawings are accurate and prepared to comply with the correct standards. But it’s not just about sitting behind a computer all day – this role means getting out on site, meeting with clients, collecting data and validating existing drawings.
Candidate Profile:

Our CAD Team is passionate about ensuring that our client' electrical drawings are acurate and prepared to comply with the correct standards.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- You will have 3+ years of proven experience in drafting and electrical systems.
- You will have a Cert IV in Engineering Drafting (or an Electrical Trade background) and relevant experience preparing drawings for electrical systems.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Client focused with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Strong communication skills with peers and engineers in small teams.
- Electrical CAD experience across a variery of Heavy Idustries.
- Extaordinary attention to detail.
The ability to prepare:
- Single line diagrams
- Motor drive power and control schematics
- Termination diagrams
- Equipment layouts
- PLC panel layouts
- Block diagrams
