About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager in our Mulgrave office. The Engineering Manager is a critical role that will provide leadership, guidance and support across the department as well as working across the organisation to drive our strategic outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
The position is accountable for supporting the execution of the divisional P&L budget and business plan as set by the Senior Leadership Team. This includes ensuring the safety of all workers, strategic planning, operational management, HR management and associated activities. As part of the leadership team, you will reinforce and consistently demonstrate behaviour that will promote a healthy, success orientated and cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational management of Business Operations
- In collaboration with your Manager undertake the strategic planning, approval and implementation of SGA projects to budget and time
- Mentor staff and manage business functions including overseeing team’s commitment to excellent client and customer standards, maintain relevant industry and other standards, understanding needs and maximising client and customer outcomes
- Coordinate with and escalate to your Manager, strategic and operational issues and risks for the business operations in a timely manner
- Maintain relationships with key designated client in order to build a solid sales strategy for growth
- Meet regularly with sales personnel to review sales activity funnel, customer retention and relationship activities, review sales performance compared to budget
- Build a strong and flourishing team environment consistent with SGA’s values
About You
You will have a minimum six-year industry experience with various forms of electrical engineering, automation and control systems engineering, team leadership and project management. You will have a Degree level qualification in electrical / electronic / computer / mechatronics engineering (or equivalent).
