About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for Senior Power Systems Engineer within our Newcastle office. Preference will be given to engineers with 5 + years of proven experience in experience in power system analysis and design. You will be responsible for conceptual and detailed design, power system modelling and studies, through to commissioning support for the HV systems.
Candidate Profile:
Our engineers are all about ensuring that our clients’ electrical systems meet their objectives. But it’s not just about sitting behind a computer – these roles mean getting out on site, meeting with clients, collecting data, getting hands-on with equipment, as well as testing and commissioning.
This role will suit an experienced individual who understands the importance of shared knowledge and who is seeking a permanent position where they can spread their wings and enjoy a satisfying career with advancement opportunities and potential team leadership responsibilities.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
About You
We are looking for a candidate who brings technical/practical skills in most of the following areas:
- You will be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering having extensive work experience in industrial power systems.
- PTW or ETAP experience
- Strong working knowledge of AS2067 and AS1768
- Client-focused with strong communication skills
- Experience across a variety of Heavy Industries
